Al McMordie is the most honored technical handicapper in the country. In 2007, Big Al won the $100,000 World Series of Sports Handicapping and also finished #1 in March Madness. In 2004, Al won the most prestigious handicapping contest in Las Vegas -- The Stardust Invitational. Overall, in the last 15 years, Big Al has garnered 34 NUMBER ONE awards in Football, Basketball, and Baseball; 133 Top 5 finishes; and 250 Top 10 finishes. Al is a featured handicapper both on National TV and Radio, as well as at the most prestigious gambling web sites. Additionally, in 2002, Big Al was featured in FHM Magazine.
In 2000, Al was 157-114 in football, including 10-0 (100%) in the NFL Playoffs. Al has won 12 of his 15 football seasons. At 3:35pm our complimentary selection is on the Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Angels 'under' the total. This game will mark the thirteenth straight contest between these two teams that has been played in Anaheim. While this is a bit unusual, it has not always been a bad thing for Cleveland as the series has been very even during this time, with the Angels having only a two-game advantage, 7-5.
Los Angeles has to be feeling pretty good after its three-game sweep of its biggest American League rivals, the Boston Red Sox, to begin the post-All-Star second half. The Angels now have the best record in the Majors, and are the first team in baseball to reach 60 wins this season. With its trade of ace CC Sabathia, Cleveland has effectively thrown in the towel for the season, but oddly enough, it finds itself riding a hot streak having gone 7-4 in its last eleven games. Ace John Lackey gets the start for the Angels and the 'under' is 6-2 in Lackey's last eight starts vs. Cleveland, and 11-3 in the last fourteen games between these two teams overall.
