The Diamondbacks were swept by Colorado in the NL Championship Series last year, but Arizona has gotten their revenge this season with a 9-2 record versus the Rockies, despite a rare loss last night. Arizona is also 30-16 in division games which is the best divisional record by any National League team this season.

My pitcher performance ratings predict a strong bounce-back effort from Dan Haren as he is coming off a rare poor showing last Saturday when he allowed 6 runs and 10 hits versus Atlanta. Haren should bounce-back this afternoon with a strong showing as he still has a fantastic 3.00 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in his 24 starts with an incredible 147-27 strikeout/walk ratio. Haren has been even stronger on the road with a 3.04 ERA and 0.99 WHIP in 11 starts with a 69-11 K/BB ratio.
